King Cobra Combat.

The breeding season for king cobras begins as summer approaches, Males follow the pheromones left behind by females over extended distances.

Males engage in combat in order to win the privilege to mate, Combat can take an hour or more, These clips were shot near our Agumbe field station.

Keep up the good work, sir, I also have a strong interest in snakes, a type of fanaticism, if you will, I hope to meet you and learn about snake handling and rescue one day.

It only adds to my love for King Cobras! They are extremely intelligent and respectful, I’m curious as to why they don’t attempt to bite each other, Thank you for like and share.
